Pee-wee Herman Actor Paul Reubens Remembered By Hollywood: “Like No One Else”

 

Tributes poured in Monday after it was revealed that Paul Reubens, the actor who made Pee-wee Herman well-known, died after a non-public battle with most cancers. He was 70.

Reubens turned Pee-wee right into a one-man franchise, from the influential youngsters TV present Pee-Wee’s Playhouse via three function movies — 1985’s Pee-wee’s Huge Journey, 1998’s Huge High Pee-wee and the 2016 Netflix pic Pee-wee’s Huge Vacation — and even a Broadway play.
